Americans for Prosperity Releases First Biannual Scorecard
SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Americans for Prosperity-South Dakota (AFP-SD) today released its 2019-2020 legislative scorecard highlighting lawmakers’ votes to tackle the greatest challenges South Dakotans face. The scorecard lets constituents know how their lawmakers voted on some of the most important issues during this legislative session, including educational opportunity, criminal justice reform, and economic opportunity.
South Dakotans may view their legislators’ votes during their two-year term on the South Dakota Scorecard website.
AFP-SD State Director Don Haggar issued the following statement:
“With this legislative scorecard, our goal is to enhance the transparency and accountability between government and the people they represent. By connecting South Dakotans with the legislative process, we hope to help constituents stay informed and ensure their voice is reflected in drafting meaningful policy reforms. We look forward to continuing to work together to make lasting policy improvements so all South Dakotans may reach their full potential. We applaud our lawmakers’ hard-work to break down barriers to help make the Mount Rushmore State become a better place to live, work, and raise a family.”
