Americans for Prosperity Urges Senate to Pass Key Health Care Reform
SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Americans for Prosperity-South Dakota (AFP-SD) today urges the South Dakota Senate to support legislation that would recognize licensed health care providers across state lines, improving access to critical health care services.
AFP-SD State Director Don Haggar issued the following statement:
“This public health crisis showed there are too many barriers standing in the way of South Dakotans accessing quality and affordable health care. This bill would expand access to much needed care and help reduce the burden on our overwhelmed health care system during this pandemic. We thank the House for supporting H.B 1077, Licensure by Endorsement, and urge the Senate to pass this legislation without delay.”
