AFP-SD Issues Statement on Joe Biden Keynote Appearance at McGovern Day Dinner
Pierre, SD – Americans for Prosperity-South Dakota (AFP-SD) issued a statement on former President Joe Biden’s appearance as keynote speaker at the South Dakota Democrat Party’s McGovern Day Dinner Friday. The chapter reminded voters that Biden’s policies led to higher taxes, increased regulations, and excessive inflation, and offered up its alternative for what smart governance should look like.
AFP-SD State Director Jennifer Beving said:
“South Dakotans are ready for a fresh vision for the state as they continue to struggle around affordability and the cost of living. Inviting Joe Biden here just shows that Democrats are out of ideas and aren’t ready to move on from policies that we know don’t work.
“AFP-SD’s Rushmore Roadmap offers a sensible framework on how to move the state in a positive direction through truth in taxation, education freedom, and regulatory oversight. We hope all lawmakers in Pierre can help us move that agenda forward in next year’s session.”
